2x times 4=48

34-3x=16

Answer:

Solution given:

3x divided 2=9

3x/2=9

doing criss cross multiplication

3x=9*2

dividing both side by 3

we get

x=18/3

x=6

Now checking given equation

2x-6=12

2x=12+6

2x=18

x=18/2

x=9

2x-6=12 is not a proper equation.

again

2x times 4=48

2x*4=48

8x=48

x=48/8

x=6

so.

2x times 4=48 is a proper equation. Circle it.

again

50-5x=9

50-9=5x

41=5x

x=41/5

50-5x=9 is not a proper equation.

again

34-3x=16

34-16=3x

18=3x

x=18/3

x=6

34-3x=16 is a proper equation. Circle it.
