Slope=
(y_(2)-y_(1))/(x_(2)-x_(1))


= (2-0)/(-3-5)\\\\=(2)/(-8)\\\\=(-1)/(4)

Equation of the line : y =mx + b


y = (-1)/(4)x + b

Plug in x = 5 and y =0 in the above equation.


0 =(-1)/(4)*5+b\\\\0=(-5)/(4)+b\\\\b = (5)/(4)

Equation of the line:


y =(-1)/(4)x+(5)/(4)
