-4, 5

Explanation:

y=f(x)

to find the x intercepts then y must be 0

0=f(x), solutions are x=-8, x=1

when 0=f(x+4), you simply add 4 to each intercept's x coordinate

-8+4=-4

1+4=5

-4, 5
