Solve for x in equation 6x + 4y=5 and 3x +2y=5

Multiple the second equation by -2 so that the y’s will cancel each other out. Then you are with:
6x=5
6x=25
=
12x=30
30/12= 2.5
X=2.5

2. x = -2/3y + 5/3
