Answer:

perimeter=48m

supposing length as x

then; breath of a rectangle =1/2x

we know that:

p=2(l+b)

48=2(x+1/2x)

now taking LCM we get;

48=2(2x+1x/2)

LCM is as a whole for both part no emphasis in my keyboard

48=6x/2

now by cross multiplication method

48/1=6x/2

6x=96

x=16

length of a rectangle =16m

breadth of a rectangle=1/2x

1×16/2

8m

breadth of a rectangle =8m
