Answer:

the events of the Boston Tea Party (1773)

the Articles of Confederation ratified (1781)

the Federalist Papers published (1788)

Step-by-step explanation:

Federalist Papers:

The Federalist Papers are a collection of opinion articles published in broadsheets — the 18th century equivalent of newspapers — in which various of the Founding Fathers (notably Madison and Hamilton) made arguments about how the US Constitution should be designed: what it should include, what it should exclude, how the government should be structured... Many of these articles were written from a position against a loose confederation of states and in favor of a federal union, hence the name. I believe the point of publishing these articles in broadsheets was to influence the ratification of the US Constitution by the states, particularly in New York where most of the articles were published. But whatever their intended purpose, the Federalist Papers are often treated as insights into the minds of the Founding Fathers, and are sometimes used by Congresspeople or legal scholars to argue for or against bills or statutes.

Articles of Confederation:

A sort-lived, failed attempt to govern the United States as a country. The Articles were not ratified until 1781. By then, most of the fighting in the War of Independence was over. The Articles of Confederation proved wholly incompetent to govern the country. Problems arose continuously and the 13 States were on the verge of breaking apart and going their separate ways, which would have made them easy targets for a British invasion.

After just six years, delegates from 12 of the 13 States met at Philadelphia from May-September 1787 to try and find a solution. The result was the drafting of the U.S. Constitution.

Boston Tea Party:

So first of all let's start with the basics of this incident. At the start British dominated American colonies over other European colonists. They had 13 major colonies in the East like thus…

Apart from that after the Seven years war(1756-1763) which British won over the French, Annexed the colonies which were under the French rule.

But coming into the scenario of Boston tea party it all started like this.

British who appointed their governors for the colonies paid their wages through the treasury of the colonies. However by this to find more money colonists had to work much harder than they did before. However the colonies enjoyed a great deal of freedom with regard to government. But they did not possess this freedom in economic activities because British followed a profit making policy in their aspect.

British never allowed colonists to produce goods or to develop factories through the commodities that they produced. They took all those goods to Britain inorder to develop their industries.

Also British had to bear a huge cost in the seven years war. So inorder to coverup that expenditure they started charging taxes from the colonies. The taxes are like thus ;

Sugar act and currency note act.

Stamp act.

Townshend act.

By these, the colonists were suppressed to the utmost level and they started protesting and even started using slogans like “ No taxation without representation”(No member, No tax)

So after all of these, British again went on to supress them with another bill and this became the immediate reason for their independence struggle which was called the Boston tea party.

Boston tea party…

In 1773 a bill was passed and the Britain gave power to one company to supply tea to American states.

This created trouble to the traditional tea sale of the American traders.

Therefore a group of Boston citizens led by Samuel Adams, disguised and entered the ships of the British East India company which were loaded with tea, anchored in Boston Harbour.

They threw 342 tea containers into the sea.

This is known as 'Boston tea party '

This is considered as the beginning of American Revolution.

The other colonists who heard this followed the same system.

The British government took the following steps against the activities of the colonists.

Closing down the Boston harbour till the loss of tea was compensated.

Prohibiting public meetings in the colony.

Hearing the cases of the accused colonists in England

Taking steps to reform the administration of Massachusetts and Georgia.

However these steps never achieved their objectives hence colonists went against them and finally liberated America as a seperate country through American independence struggle.

So if any one asks what is 'Boston tea party'?

The answer is the immediate reason which enhanced in creating a new sovereignty called “United States Of America.”

Thanks for reading!
