Urgent!!

A stream is flowing at 0.75m/sec, and a boat heading perpendicular for the stream landed at the opposite bank at angle 30°. calculate the velocity of the boat.​

Velocity of boat = 0.866 m/s

Solution Given:

Let the velocity of the boat = V m/s

Cos 30°=
(adjacent )/(hypotenuse) =(0.75)/(V )


(0.75)/(V) = 0.8660

∴ V =
(0.75)/(0.8660)

V = 0.866 m/s
