Solution Given:

Let the velocity of the boat = V m/s

Cos 30°=
`(adjacent )/(hypotenuse) =(0.75)/(V )`

`(0.75)/(V)` = 0.8660

∴ V =
`(0.75)/(0.8660)`

V = 0.866 m/s
