1) y intercept (0,-2) x intercept (2,0)

2) y intercept (0,2) x intercept (2,0)

3) y intercept (0, -5) x intercept (-1,0)

Explanation:

An ordered pair is in the form (x,y) The x tells me how far away from zero a point it. If it is a positive number, then it is to the right of zero. If it is a negative number, then it is to the left of zero.

The y tells us how far up or down the point is from zero. A positive number is above zero and a negative number is below zero.

The point right on the x axis is our x intercept. The point right on the y axis is our y intercept.
