molar mass total = 3 (molar mass of carbon) + (mm of oxygen) + 5 (molar mass of hydrogen)

=3 × 12 + 16 + 5 × 5.05

=57.08 g/mol

next we divide what we have in g/mol by what the original mass is

114.16/57.08

=2

therefore there must be two components if each atom doubling the mass

final formula=C6O2H10

the number 2 dot would be the answer
