In Romeo and Juliet, when does Shakespeare sometimes use sonnets, and why?

Shakespeare often used sonnets during the conversations between Romeo and Juliet like in Act 1, Act 1 Scene 5 and Act 2 where they express their love. Sonnets are usually about love, romance and desire so having them inside these areas of the play shows that Shakespeare wanted to show that Romeo and Juliet were very entangled in the passionate and complicated love they showed to each other.
