  • Put brackets on the right side.
  • Take out the common factor.
  • Sale price = (Original Price - 35% Original Price)
  • Now take out the common factor
  • Sale Price = Original Price (1 - 35%)

1 - 35% = 1 - 35/100 = 65/100

So the formula becomes

Sale Price=original price * 65/100
