x=2 and x=-4/3

Solve for each part.

First part:

2x-4=0

2x-4+4=0+4

2x=4

2x/2=4/2

x=2

Second part:

3x+4=0

3x+4-4=0-4

3x=-4

3x/x=-4/3

x=-4/3
