Prove that (2,2), (-2,-2), and (-2√2, 2√3) are the vertices of equilateral triangle.​

Answer:

Its not equilateral.

Explanation:

An equilateral triangle has equal sides so we calculate their lengths.

The distance between (2, 2) and (-2, -2)

= √((2 - -2)^2 + (2 - -2)^2

= √32

Between (-2,-2) an d (-2√2, 2√3)

= √((-2 - -2√2)^2 + (-2 - 2√3)^2)

= √30.54

This is not eqaul to length of the other side so they are not the vertices of an equilateral triangle.
