Answer:

x = 50° , y = 100°

Explanation:

∠ COE and ∠ DOF are vertically opposite and are congruent , so

∠ DOF = x = 50°

∠ BOF and ∠ AOE are vertically opposite and are congruent , so

∠ AOE = 30°

∠ COE + ∠ AOE + ∠ AOD = 180° ( angles on a straight line ) , that is

50° + 30° + y = 180°

80° + y = 180° ( subtract 80° from both sides )

y = 100°
