Hello,

$f(x) = ax + b \: \Leftrightarrow f(x) = - 2x + b$

We have :

- 2 * ( - 6) + b = 4

$\Leftrightarrow \: 12 + b = 4$

$\Leftrightarrow \: b = 4 - 12$

$\Leftrightarrow \: b \: = - 8$

f(x) = - 2x - 8
