Answer: 6 cm and 8 cm

Explanation:

Based on the question let y be one other side:

since the perimeter minus 10 will give us the combined lengths of the other two sides: 24-10=14 so let the remaining side be 14-y

Area = 1/2 × Base × Heigh => 24 = 1/2 × y × (14 - y)

=> 48 = y(14 - y)

=>14y - y^2 - 48 = 0

=> y^2 - 14y + 48 = 0

=> y^2 - 6y - 8y + 48 = 0

=> y (y - 6) - 8(y - 6) = 0

=> (y - 6)(y - 8) = 0

=> y = 6 or y = 8

therefore the remaining sides are 6 and 8
