Let’s cal the velocity of the slower train v
Then in 1.5 hours it will travel 1.5v miles
The distance traveled by the faster train is 1.5(v + 10) = 1.5v + 15 miles
So 1.5v + 1.5v + 15 = 153
3v = 153 - 15
v = 138 / 3 = 46 mph
The slower train has an average speed of 46 mph and the faster train 56 mph
