Answer:

5. P = 23 m

A = 15
m^(2)

6. P = 24.4 in

A = 15.3
in^(2)

Explanation:

Area formula of a triangle is A = 1/2 bh

Area formula of a parallelogram is A = bh

5. The height of a triangle is perpendicular to the base.

A = 1/2 * 10 * 3

A = 15
m^(2)

6. The height of the parallelogram is also perpendicular to the base.

A = 9 * 1.7

A = 15.3
in^(2)

Perimeter means you add all the side lengths.

5. The side lengths are 5m, 8m, and 10m. Adding those together, you get 23m.

6. A parallelogram has congruent opposite sides. That means your side lengths are 9 in, 3.2 in, 9 in and 3.2 in. Adding those together, you get 24.4 in.
