A bank gives each new customer a 4-digit code number which allows the new customer to create their own password. The digits are 1, 3, 5, 7 with no digits repeating. What is the possibility the password does not contain 5, that the number will start with 371?

Answer:

ZERO probability

Explanation:

POSSIBLE combos 4 x 3 x 2 x1 = 24 possible combos

if it starts with 371 then the only choice for the 4th digit is 5

but no combo can have a 5 (per question)

so there are ZERO chances of this happening
