for example we could use a point on the graph such as (-2, 0)

now we would insert the numbers into the inequality:

y ≤ -3x+6

= 0 ≤ -3(-2) +6

= 0 ≤ 6+6

= 0 ≤ 12

which is true! therefore it is y ≤ -3x+6
