A radioactive material has a half life of 10 years. What is the fraction of the initial isotope is left after 60 years

Answer:

1/2^6 = 1/64

Explanation:

Half life = 10 years

Time = 60 years

No of half life = T/t

= 60 / 10 = 6

Remaining fraction = 1/2^(no of half life)

= 1/2^6

= 1/64
