Your equation is already in one of the standard form. Specifically, the slope intercept form.

y=mx + b.

m is the slope, b is the intercept.

Start with the intercept y= 2, the point (0,2).

A slope of 3 would give you (1,5) as a second point for your line.

Get a ruler and draw a line through the two points.
