Anѕwєr :

Width = 21 feet

Length = 42 feet

Explαnαtion :

Let us suppose the width as w and length as l.

According to the question, the length is twice the width.

l = 2w⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ( 1 )

Also, perimeter of the rectangle is 126 feet. We know that,

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(length + width)

→ 126 = 2(l + w)

→ 126 = 2(2w + w) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀[ l = 2w ]

→ 126 ÷ 2 = 3w

→ 63 = 3w

→ 63 ÷ 3 = w

21 feet = Width

Also, from ( 1 ) :

→ l = 2w

→ l = 2(21 feet)

→ l = 42 feet

Length = 42 feet

The length of the rectangle is 42 feet and the width of the rectangle is 21 feet.
