Preterite or imperfect? Need help fast!!

Would I use "nos divertimos" or "nos divertíamos" in the following excerpt? (preterite or imperfect of divertirse?)

Answer:

Divertíamos

Step-by-step explanation:

Imperfect tense does not usually mention an exact or well-defined date, but rather it is regularly generalized, such as saying "in my childhood" or "in the past," or simply omitted. This sentence does not give a specific time frame it says "when I was a kid" so you use imperfect tense.
