Answer: Food is fuel for the body. It has a direct impact on how we feel as well as on our overall health. Unhealthy food isn’t necessarily bad, but in many cases it’s highly processed and contains large amounts of added sugar, unhealthy fats, and salts that have negative consequences. A basic definition of overeating is, excessive eating. Excessive eating is consuming more calories than necessary and usually consuming them in large portions that cause a person to feel uncomfortably full. People who engage in overeating regularly tend to eat when not hungry and may eat alone because they are embarrassed about the portions of food they are consuming. In addition, they may spend enormous amounts of time fantasizing about their next meal. Another sign that overeating has become a problem is if excessive amounts of money are wasted on food. In general, people who overeat are overweight or obese though people with normal body weights may overeat from time to time as well.

People with weight issues are often ridiculed by others who have normal weights. Jokes making fun at overweight people are normal to people all in today’s society. Overweight people are forced to suffer an attack of social criticism. As a result, they suffer low self-esteem, and can feel unwanted and are frequently considered as the source of their own problems. A person with low self-esteem feels unworthy, incapable, and incompetent. Since people with low self-esteem feels so poorly about themselves, these feelings
