3y = 6x-10
y = 2x-10/3
The equation we are finding will have a gradient of 2 because it’s parallel. Therefore we need to find the y-intercept now.
When x=4, y=5,
y = 2x + c
5 = 8 + c
c = -3
Hence the equation is,
y = 2x-3
