Hello,

an other method

Pythagorean theorem :

x² + x² = 6²

2x² = 36

x² = 36/2

x² = 18

x = √18 (and not -√18 because x ≥ 0)

x = √(9 × 2)

x = √(3² × 2)

x = 32

Answer A
