So according to BEDMAS / PEMDAS...

= 21 +
6^(2) - ( 35 - 8 ) · 3

= 21 +
6^(2) - 27 · 3

= 21 + 36 - 27 · 3

= 21 + 36 - 81

= 57 - 81

= -24
