Answer: 258.31 cm²

Here it's given that ,

  • Circumference of the circle = 57cm.

To Find ,

  • The area of the circle.

We know that ,

→ Circumference = 2πr

Substituting the respective value ,

→ 57cm = 2πr

→ r = 57cm/2π

→ r = 57/(2*3.14) cm

r = 9.07 cm

And ,

→ Area = πr²

→ Area = 3.14 * (9.07cm)²

→ Area = 3.14 * 82.26 cm²

Area = 258.31 cm²

Hence the area of the circle is 258.31 cm²

I hope this helps.

Explanation:

Given :-

  • Circumference of circle = 57cm

To find :-

  • area of circle

Solution :-

Circumference of circle = 57cm

2πr = 57cm

2×3.14×r = 57cm

r = 57/6.28 cm

r = 9.07cm

area of circle = πr²

Area = 3.14×9.07² cm²

Area = 258.31 cm²
