A sales man of machinery sold 148 machines at $79.50 each. If he received a commission of 7 1/2% then how much was his commission.

you can do this two ways by either finding the total for all his sales then get his commision or find commision per machine then multiply by amount of machines sold. it doesnt matter just depends on pref. so imma do the first one

79.5 x 148 =11766
11766 x .075(commision) =882.45
so this man earned $882.5

Commission/PER ($5.60) Sold - 148
$5.60x148 - $828.80
Total commission earned $828.80
