Many changes occurred in Europe in the late 1800s as a result of an increase in industrial production. Some of these changes that were seen during this time include:
- Increase in factory job opportunities
- Increase in the creation of labor unions
- Decrease in the number of manual labor workers
Industrial production is the use of machines to produce goods which were previously done by humans.
Some of the effects of this included a reduction in the number of manual workers, as the machines did most of the jobs, an increase in the labor union to protect the interest of the workers, etc.
