Explanation:

we can find the area of shaded region by subtracting the area of removed region.

so,

area of rectangle= length*width

for area of removed region

=4m*2m=8m^2

for area of larger region

=11m*7m=77m^2

Now final destinaltion

area of shaded region=area of lareger region-area of smaller region

=77m^2-8m^2

=69m^2
