As we now, from Trigonometric Identities

that
tan(\alpha )=(Opposite)/(Adjacent)

So for our Problem ,
\alpha =27 ,
Opposite=x ,
Adjacent = 8

by substituting , then
tan(27)=(x)/(8)

by multiplying both sides by 8 , then
x=8tan(27)=4.0762=4.08
