The point-slope form is actually
y-4=(1)/(4)(x-8); I assume there was a copy/paste issue.

Also, the correct answer is not in the answer choices given; again assuming a copy/paste issue.

Start by distributing the
(1)/(4) to
x and
-8.


y-4=(1)/(4)x-2

Add
4 to both sides of the equation.


\begin{aligned}y-4+4&=(1)/(4)x-2+4\\y&=(1)/(4)x+2\end{aligned}
