Find the perimeter and area of a triangle whose sides are of length 2cm, 5cm and 5cm​

Answer:

Perimeter:12cm

Area:5cm²

Explanation:

Perimeter is the total distance around the figure ie sum of all sides of figure

∴Perimeter of triangle equals 2cm plus 5cm plus 5cm

∴The perimeter equals 12cm

Area of triangle equals 1/2×base×height,where base is 2cm & height is 5cm

(Inserting values)

∴Area of the triangle equals 1/2×2cm×5cm which equals 5cm²
