Area = 1125mi

Explanation:

Area of sector =
r^2 *(\alpha )/(2)


r^(2) =5^(2) =25


25*(\alpha)/(2)


25*(90)/(2) =25*45=1125


\alpha = angle


r = radius

radius is 5mi

in this case the angle is 90°

A = 1125mi

you can also solve by using circle area which is
\pi r^(2)

then divide by 4 because this is 1/4 of the circle.
