if this is true for the triangles then they are indeed right triangles

this is true therefore figure 1 is a right triangle

for figure 2


10^2=100\\12^2=144\\144+100=244\\14^2=196\\244\\eq 196

this is not true therefore figure 2 is not a right triangle
