Answer:

1st fog =
9x^(2) - 45x + 52

gof =
3x^(2) - 15x + 1

2nd fog (-2) = -5

gof ( 1 ) = 115

Explanation:

How to solve composite function is easy.

Let's presume f(x) = x^2 - 5x+2 and g(x) = 3x - 5

Find fog(x)

I. Place f(x) = x^2 - 5x +2

II. Replace x value with g(x)

=(3x - 5)^2 - 5(3x-5) +2

= 9x^2 - 30x +25 - 15x + 25 + 2

= 9x^2 - 45x + 52

III. If x value (x) = 1, you just replace x with 1

= 9( 1^2 ) -45( 1 ) + 52

= 9 - 45 + 52

= 16

So fog(1) = 16

What about you? What did you get?
