The manufacturer of Derrick’s car states that the car should get 25 miles per gallon of gas. Derrick plans to drive 400 miles. He used the equation 400=25g to determine g, the number of gallons of gas he needs for the trip. What value of g makes this equation true?

25g=400 (divide both sides by 25)
g= 16 gallons
