The 19th Amendment guaranteed women in the America, the right to vote just like men. It as the result of a long term effort by women's suffrage groups in the United States who knew that being allowed to vote meant more economic opportunities.

After the Amendment, women voted in people who would push for more women's rights such that women could contribute economically.

As a result, today women now add a staggering amount of over $7.6 trillion to the U.S. GDP by working in companies and running businesses. It is estimated that women are entrepreneurs at the head of over 9.9 million businesses in the U.S. which employ more than 8 million people.
