To find:

The x- and y-intercepts.

Solution:

We have,

-x+y=8

Put x=0 in the given equation to find the y-intercept.

-(0)+y=8

y=8

Put y=0 in the given equation to find the x-intercept.

-x+(0)=8

-x=8

x=-8
