They have already given the lengths of Opposite side and Hypotenuse.

Opposite side = 12

Hypotenuse = 54

Let us solve now.

Sin x = Opposite side ÷ Hypotenuse

Sin x = 12 ÷ 54

Sin x = 0.2222

x = Sin ⁻¹ 0.2222

x = 12.83°
