The scientist’s name is Dr. Elena Petrova.

Two personal facts about the scientist are:

She was born and raised in Skopje, North Macedonia.

She is fluent in Macedonian, English, and Russian.

Her job title is Senior Researcher at the Institute of Astronomy and Astrophysics.
What she does is:

She studies the formation and evolution of galaxies using multi-wavelength observations and numerical simulations.

She analyzes the properties and dynamics of stars, gas, and dark matter in different types of galaxies.

She collaborates with other astronomers and astrophysicists from around the world to share data and insights and to publish scientific papers.

Two other facts about her job are:

She uses telescopes located in various places on Earth and in space to observe the cosmic objects of interest.

She also develops and tests computer models that can reproduce and explain the complex phenomena that occur in galaxies.

I selected this scientist because I find her field of research very fascinating and challenging. I admire her passion and curiosity for exploring the mysteries of the universe.
