A spring in a toy gun has a spring constant of 10 N/m and can be compressed 4 cm.

It is then used to shoot a 1 g ball out of the gun. Find the velocity of the ball as it
leaves the gun

F=ma
We know from this that a=10,000m/s2

V=at
X=vt


You end up with v^2=ax

Plug in 10,000 and 0.04 and solve for v =20m/s
