My idea is to talk about the inequality the pandemic has exacerbated and I started working on the intro, which is in the attachment (I hope you read it).

I want to add a thesis statement that highlights the reason, steps, and expected outcomes (as asked by the prompt). Any suggestions?

So for your these you could put this or even something similar to this as long as you state all of the topics your going to be covering in one good worded fluent sentence. I would say something like The biggest issue the pandemic has caused is “your issue” then say why that’s the biggest issue and the steps and your imagined outcome.
Example:
The biggest issue the pandemic has caused is hunger, people aren’t able to get the food they need to sustain their families, we could work together to make ways to give food to those in need and hopefully start to see a drop in the amount of people that are left without food.
