Answer : 15.625 in.³

Given :-

  • Elijah is pouring sand into a glass cube with a side length measuring 2.5 inches.

To Find :-

  • How many cubic inches of sand can he fit into the cube?

Here we basically need to find out the volume of the glass cube . We know that the volume of a cube is given by ,

→ Volume = (side)³

Here the side length is 2.5 inches . So on substituting the respective value we have,

→ Volume = (2.5)³

→ Volume = 2.5 * 2.5 * 2.5 in.³

Volume = 15.625 in³

Hence he can fit 15.625 in³ of sand in the tube.
