In many of Shakespeare's works there is a wide variety of troubled moments where the main characters go through emotional circles where they are not sure what to sacrifice. They mostly end up sacrificing so many things in the name of love. For example, In Romeo and Juliet they took their own lives because they were in love and couldn't bare the thought of loosing each other.
