Answer:

None of the above

Explanation:

From my perspective...........

From the right angled triangle

using the 30° given

cos∅ = adj/hyp

adj = z

hyp = 24

cos30° = z/24

From trigonometry ratio

cos30° = √3/2

√3/2 = z/24

2z = 24√3

z = (24√3)/2

z = 12√3

z = 20.78

To get the opposite side..........

sin∅ = opp/hyp

sin30° = opp/24

From trigonometry ratio

sin30° = ½

½ = opp/24

2opp = 24

opp = 24/2

opp = 12

From the left hand triangle

tan∅ = opp/adj

using the 45° given in the question....

tan45° = y/12

From trigonometry ratio

tan45° = 1

1 = y/12

y = 12

cos∅ = add/hyp

hyp = x

adj = 12

cos45° = 1/√2

1/√2 = 12/x

x = 12√2

x = 16.97
