Joel is using a recipe to make cookies for a club bake sale.

According to the recipe, he needs 2/3 cups of sugar for each batch of cookies. He has 6 cups of sugar.
How many batches of cookies can he make without buying more sugar?

x cups → 2 batches

x = 2(3/4) = 6/4 = 1 1/2 cups

3/4 cups → 1 batch

y cups → 9 batches

y = 9(3/4) = 6 3/4 cups
