Hello!
Relationship between rainfall, temperature and biomes:
Rainfall is influenced by the temperature of a biome. As temperature increases, rainfall decreases since more evaporation occurs. This then determines the defining characteristics of a biome, such as which type of plants and organisms are able to grow and live in it.
For example, the high average temperatures in warm deserts cause very low precipitation, resulting in plants within the biome such as cactuses which can survive in extreme heat conditions due to special adaptations (such as storing water over longer periods of time) specific to their biome and overall environment.
